Easter, a Garden, a Window, a Pin, and Staples

Hi everybody!
Please forgive my absence these past few weeks.  It has been crazy busy with the Easter holiday along with a few injuries add in.   I had started a vegetable garden with the kids.  I love gardening and have missed doing it the past few years.  I decided this year I would have one even if it was super small.  The kids have really enjoyed helping with the garden.  Every morning on the way to school Dakota has to check how the plants are doing. Dakota planted Peas, Red Onion, and Watermelon. And when he gets home from school he checks them again to see how much they have grown while he was gone.  I'm hoping us growing our own vegetable  will help him be more willing to try new things.  Aiyanna loves the garden too.  She planted Broccoli (the girl LOVES it), Banana Peppers, Garlic, and Carrots  She loves watering the garden!
I planted Cucumbers, Strawberries (aren't doing to good), green beans, bell peppers, yellow squash, and Mesculin Mix.

Here are some pictures I took when the garden was about 1.5 weeks old. Not everything was planted at the time.

While turning the dirt I jumped on the shovel to dig down and banged my head on the metal corner of a window.  I went to the ER and had to have 5 staples put in.  They said I had a concusion. I have had really bad headaches and have been a little forgetful since. That was 2 weeks ago.
Last week was Easter which was crazy busy. Our church had 2 services Friday, 2 services Saturday, Sunrise Beach Baptism Sunday, and 8 services Sunday.
. I went non stop all week.  I had so many things to sew. Our church opened it's 3rd campus Easter weekend.  There was sooo much to do. I sewed all the panels for the stage back drop. sewed 6 screens for the prom decor for our local high school, worked on some wall panels for the children"s ministry
(which didn't get finished before the services), altered a vest for a dancer, and still have three pairs of pants to alter.  We were exhausted after the long week! Sunday evening we got home and passed out.
Monday we were at the hospital at 6AM.  My husband broke his collar bone 6 years ago and it never healed.
He finally went to the doctor about it and they said he need surgery to fix it.
They put a pin in his shoulder and did a bone graph from his hip.  He was sent home the same day. (I was shocked they wouldn't keep him at least overnight). The car ride home was very hard for him. He was in so much pain! It's been a couple days and he is still in a lot of pain.   Today his pain is the worst it has been so far.  I fell so helpless. I want so bad to do something to make the pain go away, but there is nothing I can do.  Well, except refill his ice pack when he needs it.
Needless to say it really has been crazy at our house.
I will probably be pretty scarce for the next couple weeks as I take care of my husband while he starts to recover.
Please keep my family, especially my husband, in your prayers!
